Everyone’s creative journey begins somewhere, and mine started in the most unexpected but memorable way. It was an ordinary day when my friend looked at me and asked, “Do you want to learn editing?” At first, I wasn’t even sure what to expect. Still, without overthinking it, I replied, “Sure.” I had no idea that this simple moment would mark the beginning of a new passion in my life.
My friend taught me the basics, guiding me through each step with patience. Together, we created my very first edit. It wasn’t perfect, but watching the final result play on the screen gave me a spark of excitement I had never felt before. It was like discovering a new world one where creativity had no limits.
That one experience motivated me to explore editing more deeply. I started learning on my own, experimenting with transitions, effects, color grading, and different editing styles. At first, everything felt confusing, but with every attempt, I improved a little more. Slowly, editing became more than just something I learned it became something I enjoyed, relied on, and connected with. At the first week of my journey I had spent hours on a single edit but the timing improved as time passed
As I kept practicing, my confidence grew. I opened my editing page @editsvoid10, where I began sharing my creations. Each edit represented my growth, my effort, and my unique perspective. What started as a simple “yes” to my friend turned into a personal journey filled with learning, creativity, and expression.
Today, editing is a part of who I am. It has given me a voice, a skill, and a platform to express myself. And this journey is still just beginning. Anyone who wants to follow my work or support my growth can check out my editing page: @editsvoid10.
